#craftingnotcoding: The Crafty Card Class [February 2015]

Time for another round of the Crafty Card Class! This month was an "emergency card kit". And oh boy! weren't the cards the cutest. Hard to go wrong with balloons and bright colors!

The kit had 4 cards in an envelope that you can stash away in your car or purse, and use in case of an "emergency"! The good kind of emergency of course :)

The envelope is die cut from die cut center at Ben Franklin Crafts and Frames.

The card are made from 6x6 cardstock and embellished with stickers and scraps of paper that match the envelope.

Add a couple of sentiments and you are set to go!

Aren't these candle stickers so cute!

And this sentiment is part of the a scrapbook paper, with a tad bit of dimension added using a ribbon.

And the best part of this card pack is that it is super easy to recreate using some themed paper! Just an estimate, but I think that you would need 3 12 x 12 sheets of paper (one to cut and use as embellishments, one to die cut into the envelope and the last one to cut into four for the card bases) and some random embellishments and ribbons that I know we all have lying about our craft rooms!

I think I'll be making some to share with friends :) Maybe a spring theme one?

 Happy Crafting!
