#craftingnotcoding: The Crafty Card Class [October 2014]

Guess what! Ben Franklin crafts and frames now has kits available after the class, so that you can make cards from the class even if you can't make it to the class! I just finished making my set for October (late again, I know!) and thought I would share it with you immediately before I forget and its December.

1. The 'Thank You' card
Layers, dimension and colors! Can't go wrong with such a combo!

This card is a white card base, with a rainbow stripped layer in the middle, topped with a white sheet punched randomly with 1/16", 1/8" and 5/16" hole punches. The thank you sticker is placed in a 1" circle punch out.

2. The Glittery "Pumpkin" Card
Perfect for a fall birthday girl or boy! Or why not send it as a "I'm Thankful" card? The possibilities are limitless, aren't they :)

This card uses a green card base, with a golden glitter paper and a final layer of 'burlap' paper cut using a pumpkin die cut. A finishing touch added using a piece of ribbon.

3. The 'Button and Burlap' card
This can be used for any occasion, just make sure to add extra postage if you are planning to mail it!

This card has a white paper base, with a strip of burlap ribbon layered with die cut leaves and buttons.

4. The 'Postcard' card
This is so cute :) I can't wait to mail it to someone.

Its a speckled white card stock, accented with stickers and the envelope is made using a We R Memories Envelope Punch Board.

5. The 'everything' card
This layer card with a ribbon for dimension is perfect for just about any occasion.

If you are local and free from 11-1 on Friday sign up for this class, its awesome! Next one is on November 21st. And also check Colleen's Facebook page.

Happy Crafting!
